Details Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Kingdom Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. representatives will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport upon your arrival. He/she Assist to transfer you to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 02: Fly to Bhadrapur, drive to Taplejung (1,820m/ 6 to 7 hrs)
Very, early in the morning, from Kathmandu valley, we will take flight toward Bhadrapur. It takes almost 45 minutes to reach Bhadrapur from Kathmandu valley. From Bhadrapur, we will take a local bus or jeep and then slowly move toward Taplejung. The trail is surrounded by snow-capped mountains including the third-highest mountain Mt Kanchenjunga. The distance from Bhadrapur to Taplejung is approximately 182 kilometers which take about 6 to 7 hours by jeep or bus.

Day 03: Trek to Chirwa (1,270m/ 6hrs)
The trek takes you through the beautiful landscapes of the eastern Himalayas. The trail goes through beautiful rhododendron and pine forest, traditional Nepalese villages, and picturesque landscapes and there are some steep climbs and descents along the trail. These villages offer a glimpse into the traditional way of life of the people living in the remote Himalayan region.

Day 04: Chirwa to Sukathum (1,576m/5 to 6 hrs)
Crossing a suspension bridge over the Tamor River and passing through several small villages and a dense forest. The road condition is rough and unpaved so the journey may take longer than trekking. The distance from Chirwa to Sukathum is approximately 14 kilometers which usually takes 5 to 6 hours to complete this day trek.

Day 05: Sukathum to Amjilosa (2,308m/ 6 hrs)
The trail is mostly downhill where the trail passes through a lush forest, river valleys, and remote villages. The path is steep and can be challenging but the stunning views of the Himalayas and the surrounding landscapes make the journey worthwhile. This is an ideal destination for trekkers seeking a remote and serene experience.

Day 06: Amjilosa to Gyabla (2,730m/ 5 hrs)
On this day, the trail goes uphill through the forest, crossing several small streams and waterfalls. The trail then goes downhill to the river and crosses a suspension bridge. After crossing the bridge, the trail goes uphill through the forest and reaches the small villages of Gyabla. The trek continues through the forest, crossing a few suspension bridges over the river.

Day 07: Rest day in Gyabla
Today is the first rest day of the Kanchenjunga trek in Gyabla. On this day, we get a chance to explore the beautiful village where you can visit the local monastery or interact with the friendly locals. At this village, we get an opportunity to learn about the local culture and customs of the Tamang People.

Day 08: Gyabla to Ghunsa (3,595m/ 5 hrs)
The trail passes through a dense forest and crosses several suspension bridges before reaching Phale. The trail ascends through rhododendron and pine forest and reaches a small settlement called Dokang. From there, the trail crosses Selele Khola, the trail climbs up to the Tibetan village of Ghunsa. The total distance of the trek from Gyabla to Ghunsa is approximately 15 kilometers which take almost 5 hours to complete this day trek.

Day 09: Rest day in Ghunsa
This is the second day of a rest day in Ghunsa is an excellent opportunity to take a break from the rigors of trekking and appreciate the beauty and culture of this unique part. We also learn about the culture and traditions of the local inhabitant of this region. The people of Ghunsa are primarily of Tibetan origin.

Day 10: Ghunsa to Kambachen (4,045m/ 6 hrs)
Along the way, you will pass through several small villages including Rampuk Kharka, Lhonak, and Pangpema. These villages offer a stunning view of the surrounding mountain. The trek from Ghunsa to Kambachen is considered moderate in terms of difficulty. Cross over the river on a suspension bridge and continue trekking uphill until you reach Kambachen.

Day 11: Rest day in Kambachen
This is the third-day rest day in the Kambachen of Kanchenjunga trek. Kambachen is located in a beautiful, remote area of Nepal with a stunning view of the surrounding mountain. We will take a walk around the villages to see how the locals live and get a sense of the community. And from Kambachen, we get a chance to see a mesmerizing view of Mt Kanchenjunga.

Day 12: Kambachen to Lhonak (4,790m/ 6 hrs)
The trail passes through a dense forest of rhododendron, fir, and bamboo as well as several small villages. As you continue to ascend, you will cross several high mountains pass. These passes offer a stunning view of the surroundings and cross the pass. After crossing the passes, the trail descends into the Lhonak village where you will find the small village of Lhonak and spend overnight here.

Day 13: Trek to Pangpema (5,143m) and back to Lhonak (7 to 8 hrs)
From Lhonak, the trek offers a breathtaking view of the Himalayan Mountain, glaciers, and beautiful landscapes. We start our trekking very early in the morning to move toward Pangpema from Lhnoak. On this day, we get a chance to see a mesmerizing view of the world’s third-highest mountain which is Kanchenjunga. After walking around Pangpema, we will back to Lhonak and going to spend another overnight here.

Day 14: Lhonak to Ghunsa (3,595m/ 6 hrs)
The distance between Lhonak to Ghunsa is approximately 10 kilometers which take almost 6 hours to complete this day trek. The trek from Lhonak to Ghunsa is a popular route among trekkers. The trail passes through a beautiful landscape of high-altitude meadows, rhododendron forests, and stunning mountain views. Along the way, trekkers can enjoy the beauty of the Himalayan mountain range.

Day 15: Ghunsa to Sele La (4,290m/ 6 hrs)
From Ghunsa, the trek leads to the high mountain pass of Sele La. The trekking route passes through a beautiful landscape of alpine forests, lush meadows, and traditional Sherpa village. Today, it will become a little bit challenging that requires a good level of physical fitness and previous trekking experiences. The trail is not very well developed, and some sections can be steep and rocky.

Day 16: Sele La to Tseram (3,870m/ 7 to 8 hrs)
With a descent from Sele La pass the trail pass through the Yalung Glacier. After crossing the Yalung Glacier, the trail ascends gradually toward Tseram. The trail passes through rocky terrain and can be slippery in places, so trekkers need to be careful while walking. Trekkers also get to see a variety of wildlife including musk dear, Himalayan Thar, and snow leopard if you are lucky.

Day 17: Tseram to Torontan (2,995m/ 5 to 6 hrs)
From here, the trail descends steeply through a rocky and rugged landscape, with the sound of the river. Today, we will move toward Torontan. Torontan is a small and remote village that is only accessible. It takes you through some of the most beautiful and remote terrains in the Himalayan. The distance between Tseram to Torontan is approximately 6 kilometers which takes 5 to 6 hours to complete the trek.

Day 18: Torontan to Yamphudin (2,080m/ 5 to 6 hrs)
There are several possible starting points for a trek to Yamphudin, depending on the length and difficulty of the trek you are looking for. Trekking to Yamphudin can be a rewarding and memorable experience for those who are up for the challenge.

The distance between is approximately 25 kilometers which takes almost 6 to 7 hours to complete the whole day trekking. Today is the last day of the walking trek where we will walk from Khebang to Suketar. On this day, we get a chance to explore the beautiful village of Taplejung. You will pass through several small villages and cross many suspension bridges. The trail descends through a dense forest and farmland to the town of Suketar where the trek ends.
